The World as I see it

People are getting lazy, and leaving everything up to our technology. People starving are being glamorized on our big scene TVs Like of children from 3ed world courtiers. The world is a cruel and violent world, when thousands’ of people   die in a single day, and barley anybody has nothing to say about the issues. All we can do is have faith and hope and pray it won’t be us one of these days. Peoples internets know are fame, money, beauty, and race. We got to look at ourselves inside everybody should not be judge based on their skin color. I’m not a religion person, but if there is a so called God it said in the Bible states, God created everybody all equal, and all the same as one.

Life lesson I learned is are value system are in today’s world the dollar is more valued then religion, family, and love these values are way more important than money because money comes and goes family, and love that what I found makes me happier than just money. Everybody wishes they we rich, and I’m not that type of person anymore. I’m thankful for what is in front of me that is I have my own apartment , and am living by myself. I buy items I need not items I want, and I’m grateful for people showing me life lesson that are important in my life.

Tuesday with Morrie

For me I would like to talk about the end of the book, and how I thought it was powerful and it was heart breaking, and sad at the same time I chose an unknown quote for some body; “It’s never too late to make an impact on someone’s life.”  I chose this quote because I feel Morrie changed Mitch as a person for instance Mitch was all about the fame, and money then he realized it about the things money can’t buy that are important like family, and people that support you in helping you make your dreams come true.

 I liked after Morrie died Mitch want out of his way to contact his brother and Spain. That he lost contact for years. I feel after reading this book I have had many people impact my life, and at this moment the greatest aspiration comes from my love ones, and the people whom want me to to do good things in life. For example my past English professors’ have had a real big impact I have always thought I was a horrible writer for many years, but since been doing more English classes now I get the encouraging comments that make me want go to English 1A . I know all my English teacher helped me in different ways, and you Miss Mott help me digging deep down and making my writing original, simple, and star to the point. I hope I can take the skills you have shown me and make it thought English 1A and my other class I have ahead of me. My final thought is Thank you, Miss Mott for showing me what skills I will need for English1A and my other college classes, and everything we done in English 100 has helped me from the blogs, group presentation’s, and  essays.

 Wild Card

I did my wild card on chapter seven which I looked up my career of interests to obtain my degree in Fire technology I’m currently taking fire class after looking at BLS of jobs I might reconsider my career choice because of the job outlook I talked to pasted firefighter, and they are telling me it taking then ten or more just to get in the fire service. That for me is a very long time I did the math I’m 25 at the moment if it takes me ten years or more 35 or even greater just to get an entry level job.  Firefighter protects the public by responding to fires and other emergencies. They are commonly the first on the emergency scene of an accident.  When not on the scene of an emergencies, firefighters work at fire stations, they sleep, eat and stay on call during work hours that often work a 24 hours’ work shift. The job outlook of firefighters is expected to grow by nine percent, slower than the average for all other jobs in the United States.

Book review

The book I read was called Catching Fire; by Suzanne Collins is the author of the bestseller series of the Hunger Games. The collection was named New York Times bestseller. Hunger Games, District 12 winning tributes where Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark now have a secure life and have plenty of money for their families. The only problem is the defying the rules when winning the Hunger games, and now they are going into a rebellion against the Capitol. The ending is crazy some of the Districts get destroy and you will be surprise which one does.  The setting of the book is in north America called Panem. Which District 12 is location. The characters are Katniss which is the main character she is a beautiful girl was poor, but now is worthy. Then you got Peeta who is son of a barker, and is very strong blod. You have gale whom is Katniss best friend, and hunting partner. Buttercup is the ugly cat that Katniss did not like at first, but know enjoys the company of the ugly cat. You have Eiffie Trinket whom is the voice of the Hunger Games.  The obstacles in the book are that Katniss is worry that the Capitol is going to destroy her home for disabling the rules of the Capitol. The tone of the book is the author is a very creative and I feel like I was in their world at times. The themes of the book I that where love, cougar, pain, and against all the odds I chose this thmes because I feel she shows how one person can experience a lot of feeling at different times in his or her lives.

After I readied the book I’m going to be reading the last book because I feel there are so many more questions to be answer with what going to happen next so far I know the Capitol got their revenge on the District 12 I want to know what going to happen know Katniss has lost her home from the Capitol. The theme I liked the most cougar because I feel Katniss takes a stand for the people of District 12 when they were getting most treated and she had a enough and the people have a uprising against them the Captiol of cruse The first quote I chose is of peeta showing cougar.  “Peeta keeps all of us in fresh baked goods. I hunt. He bakes. Haymitch drinks. We have our own ways to stay busy, to keep thoughts of our time as contestants in the Hunger Games at bay” (155). I like this quote because it show what kind of person peeta is to Haymich which is their master of the Hunger Games. The second quote I chose is “I wish that Peeta were here to hold me, until I remember I’m not supposed to wish that anymore” (121). I chose this quote because I show how much Katniss love, Peeta even with the destruction that happen with District 12 from the Capitol. I can’t compare this to the movie because it not out yet, but in my opinion I thought the Hunger game movie was good, but the book is always better because it have everything. You can only fit so much in a movie before it becomes boring or stupid in my opinion. The movie has shape my life with how people can go thought so much pain, and have love ones taking away and still remain strong. There is a saying I like from a fames author which is kurt Vonnegut “Life goes on”  anybody how likes action and adventure sound read the Hunger game series because it’s like a drug once you read the first one you want to read them all.     

The Giver

“The worst part of holding the memories is not the pain. It's the loneliness of it. Memories need to be shared." I pick this quote from the giver because sometime when I'm having a painful memories is hard to express my self about how i feel about the event. An example is when i was fourteen years old and i broke my jaw in a fight. It hard to talk about the event because i feel people are going to make fun of me at that fact i broke my jaw in a first fight. and when i do bring it help I only get into light details because it still cases pain for me to remember all the surgeries I want through as well as drinking in a strew for like three month. I too me a couple of years to talk to a professorial counselor to relive in the moment over and over again. I can relate to Jonas because even thou I'm not going thought the pain just talk about the past brings up the pain for me.    

Wild Card

You Gotta have (150) Friends by Robin Dumbar, Can social networking sites fulfill the need to connect to other in same way face- to- face relationships do?  I feel they are destroy are relationships because there is only so much emotion support that people can talk before they need the real thing which is face time. For me I have trysted  the whole social media experience and i feel it like a robot that I'm talking to because i don't get the body languages is if I'm having a face to face conversation so i do not know if that person is lying or joking around with me I was watching the new a few weeks ago and they said that sometime it easy to know what other individual are going thought just be expressing them self thought social media. I still found it real hard because everybody takes things so seriously so i have to watch what I say about topics that instead me. I relay go I Facebook nomore because I have nothing important to say or talk about all I see social media it just people post random comments that don't matter.
